Data Analyst - US Healthcare Experience Only

This is a remote position for US-based company and you will be expected to work 8am - 4pm EST. Finmed is seeking a Data Analyst / Processor with at least 2 years of hands on experience with handling, importing, and processing large amounts of data. We are looking for applicants with domain knowledge of the US health insurance claim related data. You will be responsible for importing raw data from various sources, following instructions on how to process the raw data, and then export/save it into various systems. This role deals with healthcare claim data so you will also be responsible for running patient eligibility and claim status checks on datasets. Responsibilities Maintaining the integrity of the organization's data by adhering to firm schedules to ensure timely reporting of data Import/export data from various systems Verify that data input is accurate and timely Regularly review and validate data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency Process data files using already built tools and pipelines Analyze raw data to ensure it looks as per the standards Analyze processed data to ensure it meets the standards Create data files (excel/csv) based on a given template Upload data files into various systems, run processes, export results and process the dataset using the results Requirements and skills Great knowledge and experience with Excel (formulas, VLOOKUP etc.) Previous experience working with US health insurance claims data Great numerical and analytical skills Excellent computer skills (should be able to navigate around various portals, systems) Excellent verbal and written communication skills (this is extremely important) Ability to follow detailed instructions with high attention to detail Previous data processing skills or experience Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm Bachelor’s degree in any analytical field Experience with tools like Alteryx, JupyterNotebook is a plus Experience with Python and SQL is a plus What we offer Competitive annual compensation Performance bonus Great culture of ownership and transparency Meal Allowance Show more Show less
