Data Analyst

The ideal candidate for this role will utilize their enthusiasm for big data and analytics to derive actionable insights for the business across a variety of subjects. The primary focus of analysis will be on the data from NatGasHub.com and the Energy Industry in the US and Canada. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work directly with clients from the US and Canada, gaining valuable exposure in the process. Your responsibilities will include gaining a deep understanding of the daily challenges faced by our organization, utilizing data to enhance comprehension. You will collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of tasks, compile and analyze data pertaining to business issues, and create clear visualizations to simplify complex data. Moreover, you will be expected to comprehend client requirements and prepare datasets accordingly, propose innovative ideas to improve the company's products, and engage with customers regularly to provide support during business hours, occasionally extending assistance after hours. Furthermore, part of your role will involve reviewing the team's work to identify and rectify any errors, liaising with the manager based in the US, and training junior staff and new recruits. To be considered for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or possess equivalent experience. Academic excellence with a minimum of 75% marks throughout your educational journey is preferred. Freshers with a minimum of 6 months of Python training are encouraged to apply. Proficiency in tools such as MS Excel, Tableau, and Power BI is essential, while knowledge of SQL and Python will be a plus.
