The Opportunity

We are looking for a passionate and analytically minded Data Analyst Intern to join our team. This is a hands-on role where you will work directly with our Database Administrators and data engineers to ensure the quality, integrity, and accessibility of our data. You will be instrumental in turning raw data into reliable, actionable information that fuels our AI-driven products. 

This internship is a fantastic opportunity to apply your academic knowledge to real-world data challenges and gain invaluable experience in data governance, quality, and analysis within a fast-growing AI company. 

What You'll Do

• Write and optimize complex

  SQL queries

  to extract, transform, and analyze data from various sources. 
• Use

  Excel, Power BI/Tableau

  , and

  Python (pandas)

  for data profiling, cleansing, and visualization. 
• Assist in implementing and maintaining

  data standardization, deduplication, and data quality frameworks

  . 
• Support the team in

  master data management (MDM)

  and

  metadata management

  initiatives. 
• Collaborate on documenting data lineage and ensuring data integrity across systems. 
• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, providing key insights to stakeholders. 

Required Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in

  SQL

  for data manipulation and analysis. 
• Hands-on experience with

  Excel

  and at least one data visualization tool like

  Power BI or Tableau

  . 
• Programming experience for data analysis, preferably with

  Python (pandas)

  . 
• Understanding of

  data governance principles

  and data quality concepts. 
• A strong analytical mindset with impeccable attention to detail and problem-solving skills. 
• Eagerness to learn about data standardization, cleansing, and master data management. 

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Familiarity with

  ETL tools

  (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS). 
• Exposure to a

  cloud data platform

  (Azure, AWS or GCP). 
• Basic knowledge of

  data modeling and database design

  concepts. 
• An interest in

  regulatory compliance

  (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) as it relates to data.
