Data Analyst

Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient ETL workflows using Microsoft Fabrics data integration tools, as well as other ETL platforms (Informatica, Talend, SSIS), to extract, transform, and load data from various systems
• Manage and optimize secure, scalable data lakes and warehouses within Microsoft Fabric to store data for advanced analytics.
• Build and schedule automated data pipelines using Microsoft Fabrics orchestration features to ensure timely, accurate data refreshes and monitoring of pipeline health.
• Develop and maintain data models in Microsoft Fabric to support complex banking analytics and reporting needs.
• Create and deliver interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Tableau, or similar visualization tools to provide actionable insights to banking stakeholders
• Collaborate with governance teams to implement and enforce data quality, privacy, and compliance policies leveraging Microsoft Fabrics security and compliance frameworks.
• Work closely with business units to gather requirements, validate insights, and translate business needs into technical data solutions
• Proactively monitor data pipelines and reports, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance within the Microsoft Fabric environment

Preferred candidate profile

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst in banking or financial services
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric for data integration, storage, and orchestration
• Proficiency in ETL tools like ADF, Informatica, Talend, SSIS is a plus
• Strong skills in data visualization tools such as Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Tableau.
• Solid SQL expertise and knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with BFSI data domains (credit risk, transactions, compliance).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work with large datasets and deliver insights under tight deadlines.

Qualification :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
