Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Engineer to join our healthcare analytics and reporting team. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and automating data pipelines for healthcare claims, eligibility, and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulatory requirements (CMS standards).

Key Responsibilities:

ETL / Data Pipeline Development Design, build, and maintain automated data pipelines for healthcare data processing (Claims).
SQL Development & Optimization Write, optimize, validation and debug complex SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and CTE-based scripts for eligibility, claims, and member reporting.
File Automation Automate file ingestion, processing, and delivery between SharePoint and SFTP servers using Python (Paramiko, Pandas, OpenPyXL).
Healthcare Data Validation Perform thorough data quality checks for claims, eligibility, and payment reports, including CMS compliance validation.
Vendor Data Coordination Handle secure file exchanges with multiple vendors, ensuring correct formats, folder structures, and naming conventions.
Reporting Create ad-hoc and scheduled healthcare reports using SQL, Python, and Excel for internal teams and external stakeholders.
Version Control & Collaboration Manage code repositories using GitHub or Azure repos and follow branching/review workflows.

Key Skills & Technical Skills:

SQL Server (T-SQL, Stored Procedures, CTEs, Query Optimization)
Python (Pandas, Paramiko, OpenPyXL)
SFTP & Secure File Transfers
SharePoint Online / Microsoft Graph API Integration
Excel (Advanced Formulas, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Data Validation)

Preferred Knowledge:

Healthcare data
CMS reporting standards and Medicare Advantage data
ETL & Automation Workflows
Git / GitHub for version control
Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) basic exposure

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or related field.
1 years of experience in data engineering, ETL, or healthcare data processing.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
