As a Data Analytics Lead (Associate Architect) for our global capital markets client specializing in private markets and alternative investment strategies, you will play a crucial role in driving delivery excellence and data innovation. Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of tasks, including but not limited to: - **Leadership & Delivery:** - Lead cross-functional teams comprising data architects, analysts, business SMEs, and engineers. - Ensure high-quality delivery by implementing best practices in data architecture, analytics, and governance. - Cultivate a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team. - **Strategic & Technical Oversight:** - Design and deploy enterprise-grade data solutions utilizing SQL Server, Snowflake, Power BI, and Azure technologies. - Take ownership of end-to-end architecture and delivery of Data Warehousing (DWH), data modeling, and reporting platforms. - Align data strategies with client objectives in the private equity and alternative investment domain. - **Analytics & Governance:** - Transform intricate business requirements into scalable analytics and data-driven insights. - Establish robust data governance frameworks and ensure adherence to regulatory standards relevant to private markets. - Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics to gauge success and optimize delivery processes. - **Innovation & Thought Leadership:** - Evaluate emerging technologies in big data and analytics, assessing their compatibility within the client's ecosystem. - Advocate for high standards in data quality, security, and integrity across all platforms. **Required Skills and Experience:** - 12-15 years of experience in data analytics, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a leadership/architectural role. - Proficiency in SQL Server, Snowflake, Power BI, and modern data architectures on Azure. - Hands-on experience in data warehousing, ETL design, data modeling, and enterprise reporting. - Mandatory expertise in Private Equity/Private Markets, encompassing fund structures, compliance, portfolio analytics, or investor reporting. - Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and manage stakeholder expectations globally, including offices in New York and London. - Comprehensive understanding of data regulations and compliance frameworks pertinent to financial services. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Certifications in Power BI, Snowflake, Azure, or data architecture frameworks. - Advanced degrees such as MBA, MS in Computer Science, Finance, etc. - Familiarity with private credit, CLOs, and alternative asset classes.
