Role & responsibilities

• Utilize advanced Excel skills to build and maintain complex financial models supporting valuations, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
• Analyze large and diverse financial datasets to identify investment opportunities and risks, focusing on practical investment decision-making.
• Conduct thorough financial statement analysis, including key ratios and performance metrics, to assess company health and growth potential.
• Research market trends, industry developments, and macroeconomic data to support strategic recommendations.
• Prepare and present detailed reports, presentations, and pitch books for internal teams, clients, and senior management.
• Support due diligence processes for mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions by gathering, validating, and interpreting financial data.
• Maintain and update financial databases, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and accuracy.
• Assist in administrative tasks including scheduling meetings, managing documentation, and coordinating communication across deal teams.
• Communicate complex financial data and insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Apply knowledge of real estate financial data and market trends to support investment analysis involving real estate assets.

Preferred candidate profile

• CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) certification is preferred, but not mandatory.

• Minimum 2 years of experience working in Investment Banking.
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros, and data visualization.
• Strong experience in financial modeling and valuation techniques such as DCF, comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions.
• Deep understanding of financial statements and ratios in investment analysis.
• Proven ability to analyze large financial datasets and derive actionable investment insights.
• Prior experience in investment banking or financial services is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills for effective presentation and reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under tight deadlines.
