Role & responsibilities Utilize advanced Excel skills to build and maintain complex financial models supporting valuations, forecasting, and scenario analysis. Analyze large and diverse financial datasets to identify investment opportunities and risks, focusing on practical investment decision-making. Conduct thorough financial statement analysis, including key ratios and performance metrics, to assess company health and growth potential. Research market trends, industry developments, and macroeconomic data to support strategic recommendations. Prepare and present detailed reports, presentations, and pitch books for internal teams, clients, and senior management. Support due diligence processes for mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions by gathering, validating, and interpreting financial data. Maintain and update financial databases, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and accuracy. Assist in administrative tasks including scheduling meetings, managing documentation, and coordinating communication across deal teams. Communicate complex financial data and insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Apply knowledge of real estate financial data and market trends to support investment analysis involving real estate assets. Preferred candidate profile CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) certification is preferred, but not mandatory. Minimum 2 years of experience working in Investment Banking. Expertise in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros, and data visualization. Strong experience in financial modeling and valuation techniques such as DCF, comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions. Deep understanding of financial statements and ratios in investment analysis. Proven ability to analyze large financial datasets and derive actionable investment insights. Prior experience in investment banking or financial services is preferred. Excellent communication skills for effective presentation and reporting. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under tight deadlines.
