Summary

At Applied Research Works Cozeva, we are building the operating system for value-based care, transforming healthcare with data-driven insights. As a Data Analyst, you will work with complex healthcare data to generate meaningful insights and deliver them to key stakeholders, including internal teams and clients. Collaborating with program managers, developers, and engineers, you will help improve clinical performance, streamline operations, and enhance patient outcomes by enabling informed, data-driven decisions in value-based health systems.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Data Management & Analysis: Collaborate with data developers to create, restructure, and manage large datasets, files, and systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Research & Insights Generation: Conduct qualitative and quantitative research using mixed method approaches to uncover meaningful insights that drive strategic decisions.
• Requirements Gathering & Collaboration: Partner with managers and stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring data solutions align with organizational needs.
• Data Acquisition & Optimization: Design and implement data acquisition processes, focusing on scalability, performance optimization, and reliability.
• Data Visualization & Reporting: Create and maintain interactive data visualizations from multiple sources, enabling decision-makers to track key metrics and identify trends effectively.
• Continuous Improvement: Regularly analyze data to answer critical business questions, provide strategic recommendations, and support initiatives that enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Stakeholder Communication: Deliver clear and actionable insights to key stakeholders, fostering data-driven decision-making across departments.

Qualifications and Skills – Data Analyst

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in economics, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Public Health, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities with expertise in statistical inference, problem definition, data collection, and drawing valid conclusions.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in data-intensive programming languages such as SQL, Python (preferred) or R. Experience with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or AWS QuickSight.
• Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking: Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to data analysis and identifying growth opportunities.
• Collaboration & Communication: Ability to work effectively with colleagues at all organizational levels and communicate clearly and concisely with both internal and external stakeholders, verbally and in writing.
