D365 BC Finance Functional Lead

As a Senior Finance Consultant specializing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (Finance), you will play a crucial role in the end-to-end implementation and support of the Finance stream. Your responsibilities will include leading functional workshops, configuring and implementing Finance modules, guiding project teams, and contributing to presales and post-implementation support. Key Responsibilities: - Lead functional workshops to gather and document business requirements for Finance and Accounting. - Configure and implement Finance modules in D365 BC, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Cash & Bank Management, Fixed Assets, Taxation, Budgeting, Intercompany Accounting, and more. - Participate in requirement gathering workshops, solution design, and preparation of Functional Requirement Documents. - Guide technical consultants during solution design, customization, and integrations. - Deliver end-user training, support user acceptance testing, and provide post-go-live support. - Collaborate with Project management and technical/development teams to ensure seamless solution delivery. - Support presales activities, industry best practice recommendations, and governance & reporting tasks. - Contribute to knowledge sharing sessions within the practice and mentor junior consultants. Required Skills & Competencies: - 7-10 years of functional consulting experience on Microsoft Dynamics NAV and D365 Business Central (Finance stream). - Strong knowledge of end-to-end Finance processes, multi-entity, multi-currency finance implementations, and local statutory requirements. - Hands-on experience with finance reporting, financial statements, and Power BI integration. - Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: - Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate. - Exposure to Agile/Hybrid project methodologies and experience in pre-sales activities.
