The Position : For our IT development team in Bangalore, we are looking for Test Engineers . You will form part of a multi-locational key development feature team using an Agile methodology. You will be fulfilling tasks in (Functional, chain and user) testing in a fast paced and ever-changing environment on (near) real time systems where reliability and security is paramount. As part of the team, you will be actively encouraged to offer opinions and influence at all stages to produce software you are proud of. The Test Engineer will design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks. This role should have a strong focus on quality throughout the entire software development cycle. Our target platform is built with Azure PaaS/SaaS tools. Experience with the Azure platform (especially Logic Apps, Power Platform, C#) and willingness to learn are the foundations for this role. Job Accountabilities/Detailed Responsibilities : Work Closely with Product Owner and Business Analysts to understand and detail user stories into a clear state that enables clear instructions for development and testing. Design, Develop and manage test automation scripts while applying software development methodologies and QA principles. Execute and review automated test plans to ensure products meet the defined requirements for usability. Identify quality issues and recommend improvements or corrections to developers. Education, Skills & Competencies : Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science preferred. Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Manual, Automation, API testing with good Test Process understanding. Automation Skills/Technologies: Cypress (must-have), Selenium (good-to-have). Programming Language experience: Java, Java Script. FS or Investment Banking Industry domain experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal skills, possesses strong problem-solving abilities and a creative thinking approach.

Familiarity with version control systems like GitHub and Bitbucket. Candidates with strong consulting background will be preferred. Role & Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain modular test cases in Cypress, Katalon Studio, ensuring they can be composed into larger, reusable test suites. Automate complex functional, API, and mobile test cases using Katalon and Appium, ensuring high test coverage for critical application areas. Collaborate closely with the SA, BA, TPM, and other stakeholders to identify and prioritize high-complexity test scenarios, focusing on critical business logic. Continuously optimize and refactor automated test suites to improve performance, stability, and coverage. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing during development and deployment. Analyze test results, report defects, and ensure timely resolution to maintain high product quality. Provide technical guidance and support to other QA team members in building complex, composable automated tests.

Nice-to-Have Skills:- Experience with Next.js or other React meta-frameworks. Familiarity with Tailwind CSS or styled-components. Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress. Basic understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices. Exposure to accessibility (a11y) and performance optimization techniques. Knowledge of SEO best practices in React apps. Familiarity with GraphQL and tools like Apollo Client.
