Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer proficient in Cypress to contribute towards building and scaling our testing framework. The role involves collaborating with product and development teams to translate requirements into executable test scenarios and drive automation efficiency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop test strategies and ensure effective test coverage.
  
• Work closely with product and development teams to understand requirements and build executable test cases.
  
• Maintain requirement-to-test-case traceability, especially across microservice updates.
  
• Contribute towards scaling and structuring the test function.
  
• Create and monitor test metrics to track coverage, efficiency, and tool adoption.
  
• Support both automation and manual testing activities when needed.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience in

  End-to-End automation testing

  .
• Strong expertise in

  Cypress

  and JavaScript.
• Proficiency in

  Linux command line

  .
• Experience integrating automated tests into

  CI/CD pipelines

  .
• Working knowledge of plugins for integration between automation tools and Atlassian products (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence).
  
• Familiarity with automation infrastructure and tools.
  
• Good understanding of

  BDD/TDD methodologies

  .
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  
• Minimum

  1 year of automation experience

  .
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to design automation for new features.
  
• Strong analytical ability, detail orientation, and initiative-driven mindset.
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
  
• Knowledge of various testing methodologies – Unit, Integration, Functional, Acceptance, Performance, Smoke, etc.
  
• Self-driven, proactive, and innovative approach to automation.
  

Preferred / Good to Have

• Exposure to

  AdTech ecosystem

  (SSPs, DSPs, DMPs, ad servers, etc.).
• Backend automation experience.
  
• Experience with cloud-based environments (preferably

  AWS

  ).
