Job Description

Job Summary:

Threat Intelligence Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, research, and analyze

    threat intelligence feeds

    , brand mentions, and dark web activity using tools such as

    Cyble, Fortirecon, and Cloudsek

    .
  • Perform

    brand monitoring/protection

    and take proactive measures against brand misuse or potential reputation threats.
  • Generate and deliver

    daily, weekly, and ad-hoc intelligence reports

    for internal stakeholders.
  • Track

    Advanced Persistent Threat (APT)

    groups and provide actionable intelligence on their TTPs (Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures).
  • Translate

    OSINT (Open Source Intelligence)

    into meaningful insights for

    threat hunting

    and proactive defense strategies.
  • Conduct in-depth investigations and

    dark web threat analysis

    , including breach data, leak detection, and chatter monitoring.
  • Leverage

    data analytics

    to analyze large datasets and identify hidden threats or anomalies.
  • Collaborate with SOC, Incident Response, and Threat Hunting teams to integrate intelligence into detection and response workflows.
  • Ensure threat intelligence processes comply with regulatory and internal requirements.
  • Stay up to date with the latest cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and intelligence-sharing frameworks.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8–12 years

    of experience in cybersecurity, specifically in

    Threat Intelligence and Cyber Threat Research

    .
  • Hands-on experience with tools like

    Cyble, Cloudsek, Fortirecon

    , or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of

    cloud and on-premise attack vectors

    , defense mechanisms, and logging/monitoring strategies.
  • Experience with

    security incident response

    ,

    digital forensics

    , and deep knowledge of

    OS internals

    .
  • Familiarity with

    APT tracking

    , malware analysis fundamentals, and adversary simulation.
  • Ability to work with

    large volumes of data

    and apply

    data analytics

    for threat identification and prioritization.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills for translating complex findings into actionable business intelligence.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., GIAC GCTI, GCFA, CEH, OSCP, or equivalent) are a plus.
  • Experience working in BFSI or highly regulated environments is preferred.
