Description
As a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst at Deutsche Bank, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding the organization from cyber threats. Your responsibilities will include identifying, assessing, and mitigating threats, providing mitigation recommendations, analyzing complex technical issues, and collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders to develop bank-specific solutions. You will also contribute towards enhancing the bank's capabilities in responding to threats through projects and strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Proactively identify threats, track threat actors, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) to produce actionable intelligence. - Produce threat assessments to support threat mitigation activities. - Analyze multiple data/intelligence sources to identify patterns of activity attributed to threats and develop informed recommendations. - Conduct analysis on files/binaries, packet captures, and supporting materials to extract relevant artifacts, observables, and Indicators of Compromise (IOCs). - Drive improvements of internal processes, procedures, and workflows. - Participate in testing and integration of new security monitoring tools. - Deliver high-quality reports on threats, findings, and technical analysis within strict deadlines. - Take ownership of personal career development and seek opportunities for improvement. - Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external intelligence sharing communities. Skills And Experience: - 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with a focus on threat intelligence, analysis, and mitigation. - Operational background in intelligence-related operations with experience in Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) techniques. - Understanding of computing/networking (OSI Model or TCP/IP) and security technologies (IPS/IDS, Firewalls, EDR, etc.). - Knowledge of virtual environments and cloud platforms (VSphere, Hypervisor, AWS, Azure, GCP). - Interest in tracking cyber threat actor groups, campaigns, and TTPs in line with industry standards. - Experience working with intelligence lifecycle, intelligence requirements, and Mitre ATT&CK Framework. Non-Technical Experience: - Strong investigative and analytical problem-solving skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication for technical and non-technical audiences. - Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision. Education and Certifications: - Preferred degree in computer science, networking, engineering, or related field associated with cyber, intelligence, or analysis. Desired Experience Or Certifications: - CISSP, CISM, GIAC, GCTI, GCIH, GCFE, GCFA, GREM, GNFA, Security+, CEH.
