Cyber Security Analyst Internship

As an intern in this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards. Your tasks will include investigating security threats and incidents, developing and updating compliance policies and procedures, as well as assessing and mitigating compliance and security risks. You will also coordinate responses to security breaches and compliance violations, conduct internal compliance audits, and assist in external audits. It will be crucial for you to ensure data privacy compliance and respond to any incidents that may arise. Additionally, you will need to identify opportunities for program improvement and lead initiatives for enhancement. Your role will require a willingness to learn and stay updated on new technologies, as well as actively participate in the deployment and integration of new technologies to enhance security measures. To be eligible for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. While 0-6 months of experience in compliance, security analysis, or a related role is preferred, a strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards is essential. Proficiency in security tools and technologies, with hands-on experience being a plus, will be beneficial for this role. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with teams across the organization are also important qualities for this position.
