Job Description

  The opportunity  
You will be responsible to develop large and complex web applications architecture, composed of components, standards that govern which how data is represented, arranged, integrated and used by users, including the design, build and documents to address business requirements You will be responsible Create sound project plans with the business by engaging with multidisciplinary teams, and by identifying, managing and mitigating risk You will be responsible to develop relationships across the business to understand data requirements, applies deep technical knowledge of data management to solve business problems in areas where solutions may not currently exist, necessitating new solutions / ways of working / technologies and proactively articulating these to the business You will be responsible to oversee engineering and delivery of Enterprise Transactional Communications platform using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC). This role focuses on enhancing customer engagement through SFMCs integration with Adobe tools such as AEM, Real-Time CDP, and Journey Optimizer. Candidates should have strong technical skills in SFMC, Adobe Experience Cloud integration, AWS, and proven leadership and stakeholder management experience. .   Skills and attributes for success  
  • SFMC ExpertiseDeep knowledge of SFMC modules including Automation Studio, Journey Builder, Email Studio, and Contact Builder.
  • Adobe MarTech StackExperience integrating SFMC with Adobe Real-Time CDP and AJO for audience segmentation, journey orchestration, and engagement analytics.
  • AWS ProficiencyHands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, Glue, and API Gateway for data exchange and automation.
  • Data IntegrationFamiliarity with file-based and API-based data flows between CDP, SFMC, and Salesforce Data Cloud.
  • DevOps & CI/CDExperience with deployment pipelines, version control, and release management in cloud environments.
  • GenAI skill set (e.g., experience with generative AI tools, prompt engineering, and AI-driven campaign optimization) is a major plus.
  • Proven experience in Agile delivery (Scrum, SAFe) and backlog management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, especially in offshore delivery models.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving in complex, dynamic environments.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and overlapping responsibilities with clarity and influence.

  •   Preferred Qualifications  
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Certifications in SFMC, Adobe Experience Platform, or AWS (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect).

  •   Key Responsibilities  
  • Delivery LeadershipOversee end-to-end delivery of SFMC engineering initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Platform IntegrationLead integration efforts between SFMC and Adobe CDP/AJO to enable real-time audience activation, behavioral event-triggered campaigns, and unified customer profiles.
  • Omnichannel Experience EnablementArchitect and implement personalized journeys across email, SMS, push, and direct mail using SFMC and AJO workflows.
  • Automation & ConfigurationManage Automation Studio, Journey Builder, and Audience Builder configurations to support dynamic content and triggered campaigns.
  • Operational ExcellenceEnsure platform stability, performance optimization, and proactive monitoring across SFMC and integrated systems.
  • Team ManagementMentor cross-functional engineering teams, fostering agile delivery practices and continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder EngagementCollaborate with product owners, marketing leaders, and IT stakeholders to define roadmaps and report progress.

  •   To qualify for the role, you must have  
  • 5+ years SFMC experince, 3+ years as Tech manager, SFMC certified.
  • AEP, Omni channel personalization journey experience is a plus.
  • Provide guidance and training as necessary to develop crew.
  • Sets performance standards, reviews performance, and makes informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.
  • Develops and implements changes to department policies and procedures to meet changing business needs and to achieve department objectives.
  • Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Enhance cybersecurity frameworks by integrating advanced security measures and best practices into IT projects to safeguard company data and assets.

  • Responsible for delivering software releases relating to the product for the business units
  • Works with business clients to determine scope, and develops environmental requirements for each project.
  • Works closely with management to develop and implement staffing and operational plans. Participates in the development of short and long term department goals. Monitors and reports on service delivery metrics and overall performance.
  • Leads quality initiatives to improve the delivery of service levels. Works with senior management in the planning, development, and execution of short and long range goals.
  • Presents status, metrics, and department initiatives at meetings with management and project peers.
  • Maintains relationships with technical teams, IT, and business partners.
  • Participates in the development of the department budget.
  • Reviews expenses and ensures department operates within budgetary guidelines.
  • Ensures staff complies with information technology and information security policies and procedures, and verifies that deliverables meet requirements.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and effectively communicating project progress and updates to stakeholders.
  • Identify potential risks throughout the project lifecycle and implement strategies to mitigate them, ensuring smooth project delivery.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, set timelines, allocate resources efficiently, and manage budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
