Customer Support Associate

As an Associate for the Customer Support team at Avantor, you will be responsible for providing initial technical product support to customers. Your role will involve handling inquiries and troubleshooting basic technical product-related issues. You will gather information to identify and assess the nature of the problem, and record incidents in a tracking system to maintain a log of product issues for escalation and product development teams. In cases of complex issues, you will escalate them to higher-level technical product support specialists or management. Key Responsibilities: - Provide initial technical product support to customers - Handle inquiries and troubleshoot basic technical product-related issues - Gather information to identify and assess the nature of the problem - Record incidents in a tracking system for escalation and product development teams - Refer to training manuals and guides to recommend solutions - Escalate complex issues to higher-level technical product support specialists or management Qualifications Required: - Post-secondary education or equivalent job experience; college degree preferred but not required - 0-3 years of experience in mining or commercial assay laboratory or related field - Computer skills and aptitude to operate a variety of computer software programs and systems - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to be a strong team player - Excellent organizational skills - Skilled in relationship building At Avantor, you will have the opportunity to conduct sales calls to ascertain customer needs, seek out new sales opportunities, prepare expense reports, evaluate territory reviews, and travel to customer locations to evaluate onsite customer care needs.
