Job Description

As an APM Terminals employee, your role will involve managing and monitoring the end-to-end shipment process on behalf of the customer logistics department. This includes coordinating with various stakeholders involved in the shipment process and orchestrating the overall flow of the shipment. Your responsibility will also include providing value-added solutions to customers through effective business knowledge and process understanding. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and monitor the end-to-end shipment process - Coordinate with various stakeholders in the shipment process - Provide value add to customers through effective business solutions - Resolve queries from shippers, customers, and other stakeholders in a timely manner - Maintain a customer-centric approach to avoid errors and take preventive measures - Prepare and submit all documents accurately and in a timely manner - Adhere to process and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Internal Operating Procedures (IOPs) - Respond to enquiries promptly and escalate difficulties as defined in SOPs / IOPs - Maintain effective communication by participating in conference calls with clients - Record and report performance to provide suitable recommendations - Establish and strengthen customer relationships - Execute reports or tasks assigned by the Team Leader/Manager Skills and Competencies: - Good knowledge and experience in 4PL and Supply Chain Management operations - Excellent English communication skills (oral and written) - Strong communication capabilities in an international environment - Strong documentation experience - Customer service orientation and passion to drive closures - Team player with strong teamwork abilities - Good understanding of operational processes - Strong time management skills - Willingness to work overtime and under pressure to meet deadlines Educational Background and Work Experience: - A bachelor's degree in any field - Minimum 2 years of experience in freight forwarding, 3PL and/or 4PL import/export Language Skills: - Fluent in English (written and spoken) Please note that we are committed to supporting your needs during the application and hiring process.
