Job Description

We are hiring an experienced Custom Operations Executive to manage all customs-related procedures and documentation for our liquor warehouse. The candidate should have sound knowledge of customs laws, bonded warehouse operations, and excise compliance specific to the liquor industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage customs documentation in compliance with Excise and Customs regulations, including Bills of Entry for Ex-Bonding and In-Bonding.
• Ensure end-to-end bonded warehouse operations, including stocking, inward/outward management, and inventory control.
• Verify shipping documents to ensure correct application of customs duties, storage, and handling charges.
• Coordinate with customs authorities and related government agencies to obtain NOCs (WCCB, FSSAI, ADC, P&Q, A&Q, TTC).
• Manage customs clearance procedures and resolve issues directly with customs officials (Inspector, Supt/Appraiser, AC/DC, JC/ADDC).
• Maintain accurate customs and logistics records using appropriate software systems (e.g., ICEGATE, CBIC, EDI).
• Collaborate with transport partners to ensure timely delivery and clearance of goods.
• Oversee warehouse activities to ensure compliance with standards of hygiene, cold storage, and security protocols.
• Supervise and support team members involved in customs operations and logistics handling.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Graduate/Postgraduate (preferred in Commerce, Supply Chain, or related fields).
• 4 to 6 years of experience in customs operations, preferably in the liquor/FMCG industry.
• Strong knowledge of customs clearance, bonded warehousing, and excise documentation.
• Hands-on experience with ICEGATE, CBIC, EDI systems, and Incoterms.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and logistics software.
