Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Curry Chef located in Kolkata. The Curry Chef will be responsible for preparing a variety of Indian curry dishes, ensuring quality and consistency in food preparation. Daily tasks include ingredient selection, recipe development, cooking, plating, and hygiene maintenance. Additionally, the Curry Chef will manage kitchen staff, oversee inventory, and contribute to menu planning to enhance the dining experience for our guests.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in preparing various Indian curry dishes and knowledge of traditional and contemporary recipes
• Experience in managing kitchen staff and maintaining a clean and organized workspace
• Strong understanding of ingredient selection, inventory management, and food safety standards
• Creativity in culinary presentations and a keen eye for detail
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry is preferred
• Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus but not required
