Job Description

As a Technical Support (CTS) Manager at our company, your main mission will be to offer structured, professional, and timely service support to the Customer Centres with a high focus on increasing speed in issue resolution. You will play a critical role in helping the organization achieve its strategy objective of time to solution. This includes assisting NPD to focus on CTS divisional guidelines set for "design for life" and the "service deliverables." Additionally, you will coach and empower the service specialists in the team to improve their effectiveness. Your responsibilities will include offering day-to-day service support to the Customer Centres, collecting and interpreting field product feedback, managing the PQM and TCM process to reduce product warranty costs and improve product quality, creating active participation in the development of new products, providing technical training, ensuring timely access to service and technical information, coordinating spare parts availability, and developing and aligning processes for CTS Pune with Global CTS. To succeed in this role, you will need a minimum of 10-12 years of experience in Mechanical/Electrical/Equivalent Engineering/Design domain, people management experience, experience with operational and field issues, first-hand experience supporting NPI/NPD projects, and knowledge of product service and follow-up. Good product knowledge, knowledge of Root Cause Analysis, DFMEA, PFMEA, warranty handling process, and familiarity with Atlas Copco CT products are also required. Personality requirements for this role include being customer-oriented, having good communication skills, commercial acumen, problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, strong leadership skills, willingness to travel, proficiency in English, and self-driven attitude.
