CSSD Technician

· Responsible to sterilize and prepare equipment and instruments, such as surgical tools.

· Operating & monitoring steam autoclaves, sonic washers and other sterilizing equipment.

· Responsible to organize surgical instrument trays.

· Responsible to record sterilizer test results.

· Responsible to stock crash carts.

· Responsible to restock, labels and maintains inventory, submits requisitions, collects and distributes instruments, trays, crash carts and facility medical equipment.

· Responsible to perform environmental maintenance duties and assists in maintaining inventory levels in sterile processing, the operating room and in equipment storage areas.

· Responsible to verify that equipment functions properly, requisitions for equipment maintenance, repair or replacements and remove defective equipment.

· Responsible to maintain clean work area.

· Responsible to assist with maintaining established departmental policies and procedures, objectives and quality improvement, safety and environmental and infection control standards.

· Responsible to communicate appropriately using good interpersonal skills.

· Responsible to sort mismatched sets of instruments, trays and medical equipment and makes them available to sterile processing in a timely manner.

· Responsible to preparation and packaging for sterilization equipment.

· Responsible to Tracking and recall of equipment and items.

· Responsible to report all incidents/ injuries on a timely basis to the reporting head.

· Any other duties assigned by the management from time to time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
