Mechanical Design Engineer
4+ years of experience in Electrical Harness Routing, Design Concept integrating CPI (Continuous Process Improvements) in heavy equipment domain,
Hands on experience on Creo Schematic/diagram, Part design, Assembly, Group and Arrangement.
Utilize Creo to create highly integrated designs within the machine platforms
Good experience in verification of harness design rules, Illustration drawings and layout preparation.
Have knowledge on Electrical systems and able to understand Schematics / Circuit design.
Good Knowledge on components used for wiring harness design. (Wire types and its selection, Fuses, Relays, Controllers, connectors, coverings, support clips etc.)
Knowledge on sheet metal design and automotive wire harness manufacturing process is added advantage.
Should be ready to work on multiple harness and schematic development tools.
Should be able to interact with customers and provide solutions.
Working on creating a comparison concept between current and existing design to check clearance and finalize design
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Creation of CN and release the CN for Teamcenter activity
Strong Interpersonal & communication skills.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in an Electrical Engineering or Mechanical plus 4+ years’ experience in engineering
4+ years of engineering experience with CAD Software and PLM
Previous working knowledge of NPI process.
