Credit Risk Senior Officer

As a Senior Vice President, Credit Risk Senior Officer - Hybrid at Citi based in Mumbai, India, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the Trade portfolio in Asia Pacific and ensuring adherence to Citis risk management principles and standards. Your responsibilities will include: - Providing approval of country and/or product programs, identifying risk factors, and aligning local requirements with global standards. - Reviewing new product or trade solutions initiatives and identifying gaps for further review. - Approving Cluster Deal Reviews and challenging the appropriateness of trade facilities. - Supporting TTS Trade Risk in reviewing structured deals submitted to the Global Deal Review Committee. - Performing concentration reviews, event-driven analysis, and presenting stress test outcomes. - Tracking the Cost of Credit for the Asia Trade portfolio and estimating the cost of credit impact of specific transactions. - Leading productivity/process enhancement projects, engaging with product teams and stakeholders for process improvements. - Handling special projects as assigned. Qualifications required for this role include: - 15+ years of relevant experience in a financial institution, with a background in trade structuring as a plus. - Proactive, detail-oriented, and analytical mindset. - Strong problem-solving skills with follow-through until execution. - Good judgement, ability to work independently, and deliver high-quality results. - Strong interpersonal skills to influence various stakeholders. - Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills. - Education level: Bachelors degree or Masters degree.
