As a Credit Analyst within our organization, you will be responsible for preparing thorough and detailed credit proposals that adhere to the bank's policies. This includes conducting in-depth analysis of financial statements, industry trends, economic data, and various risk factors. Your role will involve proposing appropriate ratings and GRR to the credit committee, utilizing internal tools and your expertise. Ensuring timely completion of annual reviews, transaction deadlines, portfolio reviews, covenant checks, and security monitoring will be essential elements of your responsibilities. You will be expected to maintain effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner. Monitoring the credit evolution of clients, identifying early warning signals, and promptly updating financial spreadsheets are crucial aspects of your role. Additionally, you will be involved in presenting credit proposals to local credit committees, participating in client meetings with Relationship Managers, and contributing to discussions on potential deals. Staying informed about credit policies and methodologies, actively engaging in credit projects, and supporting team members to enhance overall efficiency are also key components of this position. You may be required to assist the Head and team Lead of CTCM on an ad hoc basis and provide backup on tasks performed by the CTCM team when necessary. The ideal candidate for this role will have a background in Credit Analysis, Credit Ratings, and Credit Risk Management, with a minimum of 7 years of experience for the Assistant Manager level and 9+ years for the Manager level. This position is based in Mumbai, with shift timings from 7 AM to 4 PM. Role & responsibilities Resolution of stressed and special situation assets which involve business analysis study of company potential, industry and management risk, business and financial restructuring. Monitoring of early warning signals, cashflows, operational and financial performance of allocated portfolio. Review of credit files/ security documentation taking corrective actions in case of any discrepancies. Interacting with all stakeholders including company officials, other lenders, internal stake holders to ensure timely and appropriate implementation of banks strategy wrt to allocated portfolio. Close coordination with Legal team for cases which may involve litigation. Interaction with advocates for filing suits initiating legal action under SARFAESI, NCLT, DRT etc. Emphasize on value realization from portfolio through cross sell , advising, developing sustainable business plans. Preferred candidate profile Strong Credit Analytics/ Experience in handling stressed accounts (Preferred). Experience in preparing Credit Appraisal and Financial Analysis. Through Knowledge of RBI Guidelines/ IBC related guidelines/Restructuring. Strong interpersonal skills.
