Position Overview

The Course Counselor will be responsible for guiding prospective students, understanding their career goals, recommending suitable programs, and assisting them through the admission process. The role requires strong communication skills, educational industry knowledge, and the ability to convert enquiries into admissions.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel students and parents regarding courses offered by Des-Tech Academy.
• Understand the student’s academic background and career aspirations to suggest the right program.
• Handle walk-in, telephone, and online enquiries promptly and professionally.
• Provide detailed information about course structure, duration, fees, placement support, and career opportunities.
• Maintain enquiry records, follow up with leads, and achieve monthly admission targets.
• Coordinate with the academic and marketing teams for smooth operations.
• Participate in education fairs, seminars, school/college visits, and promotional events.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and student support throughout the admission cycle.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Course Counselor / Student Advisor / Admission Counselor in an educational institution.
• Graduate in any discipline; preference for candidates with background in education or counseling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong ability to convert enquiries into admissions.
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with CRM or admission management tools.
• Ability to work under targets and deadlines.
