Job Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic, technically sound, and business-driven Country Head to lead our operations in Suriname, responsible for developing and expanding our Technical Manpower, EPC Support, and E&I Turnkey Services across Latin America. The ideal candidate should be an engineering professional fluent in Dutch and English, with strong leadership, client engagement, and project execution capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Client Management

• • Develop and execute country-level strategy to grow business in technical manpower deputation, project staffing, and E&I turnkey solutions.
• • Identify new business opportunities across Oil & Gas, Power, Infrastructure, Mining, and Industrial sectors.
• • Build and nurture strong relationships with local clients, government bodies, contractors, and consultants.
• • Represent the company in client meetings, negotiations, and industry events in Suriname and neighboring Latin American countries.

Operations & Project Management

• • Oversee on-ground project execution, manpower deployment, client coordination, and compliance.
• • Ensure seamless delivery of services as per contract scope and international standards.
• • Coordinate with HO teams for mobilization, costing, logistics, and commercial matters.

Team Leadership & Local Setup

• • Establish and manage a local team (admin, technical support, HR coordination).
• • Ensure legal and statutory compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
• • Drive local vendor development and supply chain efficiency.

Key Requirements:

• • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Instrumentation / Mechanical Engineering.
• • Minimum 3 years of experience in operations, BD, or project execution (preferably international exposure).
• • Fluent in Dutch and English – essential for local communication and stakeholder management.
• • Strong understanding of technical manpower industry, E&I turnkey project scope, and international contracting models.
• • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• • Male candidate, physically fit and willing to travel within South America.
• • Prior working experience in Latin America will be an added advantage.
