Country Accountant

Role & responsibilities

1. Group Accounting Policy Management

1) Responsible for communication and empowerment of group accounting policies at the national level;

2) During the contract analysis phase, provide relatively certain accounting solutions based on business needs after contract signing;

3) Act as a bridge to enhance the understanding of business substance and accounting standards between business and finance.

2. Local Accounting Policy Management

1) Regularly review business scenarios and changes in local and group accounting policies;

2) Responsible for the implementation plan of Local GAAP in front-end business processes, including adaptation of business-side solutions, process tracking, and data source management implementation.

3. Statutory Audit Management

1) Responsible for building mutual trust with auditors;

2) Formulation and progress management of audit plans;

3) Summary, communication, and closure of audit issues.

4. Regional Implementation Management of Financial Report Quality

1) Assist the National CFO in establishing a management framework and responsibility matrix for national financial report quality, focusing on risk management objectives for certainty and uncertainty to achieve national financial report quality goals;

2) Analyze and discuss top financial report quality issues with business owners, identify root causes, provide technical support to business supervisors, and assist in formulating improvement measures;

3) Support the National CFO in reporting financial report quality issues to the National Board of Directors, including but not limited to semi-annual routine reports on financial report quality and special reports on matters reaching threshold intervention zones.

5. Supplier invoice management and other matters

1) Manage the execution quality of supplier invoices at the country level based on the process requirements.

(2) Provide solutions for specific country scenarios, and drive the resolution and closure of identified issues.

Skills:

Be able to communicate fluently in Chinese.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills for handling audits, assessments, and disputes.

Desirable:

Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or Tally.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
