Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Counselor to join our team in Guwahati, Assam, India. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in counseling or a related field.

Roles and Responsibility

Provide individual and group counseling sessions to students on academic and personal matters.
Develop and implement effective counseling strategies to improve student outcomes.
Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to identify and support students who may be struggling.
Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions and student interactions.
Participate in training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in counseling.
Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and community members to promote the organization's mission and values.

Job Requirements

Master's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in counseling or a related field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
Strong knowledge of educational systems and processes is essential.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in counseling.
