Role Overview

The School Counselor will support students’ academic, emotional, and social growth by providing personalized guidance, career advice, and well-being support. The role involves working closely with students, parents, and teachers to create a safe, inclusive, and future-ready learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide academic, career, and personal counseling to students.
• Assist in goal-setting, course selection, and study skills development.
• Address student concerns, conflicts, and crises.
• Collaborate with parents and staff to design support strategies.
• Conduct workshops on wellness, SEL, and life skills.
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Education, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in student counseling or K–12 education.
• Knowledge of online learning platforms is an advantage.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
