Position Overview: Academic Counselor (BDE)

As an Academic Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and assisting prospective students throughout the admissions process. You will provide clear, accurate, and up-to-date information, help students with their applications, and offer valuable insights into making informed decisions about their educational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Counseling & Guidance:

   Provide prospective students with detailed information about the institution, available programs, admission requirements, and financial aid options.

• Application Assistance:

   Guide students through the application process, ensuring that all necessary documents are completed and submitted accurately and on time.

• Interviews & Evaluation:

   Conduct interviews with applicants and evaluate their qualifications, extracurricular activities, and achievements.

• Collaboration:

   Work closely with the admissions team to review applications and make informed decisions regarding student admissions.

• Industry Awareness:

   Stay current with industry trends and admission policy changes to offer students the best advice.

• Student Support:

   Provide continuous guidance to students in aligning their academic and career objectives with the available educational opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Educational Qualification:

   A Bachelor's degree in any field.

• Communication Skills:

   Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to interact effectively with a wide range of students and stakeholders.

• Organizational Skills:

   Excellent organizational abilities to handle multiple tasks, manage time effectively, and prioritize responsibilities.

• Knowledge of Education Systems:

   Familiarity with the college admissions process and trends in higher education.

• Technical Proficiency:

   Comfortable with using data management systems and office applications.
