Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Chennai for a Costing Engineer. The Costing Engineer will be responsible for preparing and analyzing project cost estimates, evaluating technical requirements, and reviewing material costs and production schedules. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and sales, to ensure accurate costing and profitability analysis. Additional responsibilities include identifying cost-saving opportunities and assisting in project budgeting and reporting.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial analysis
• Strong understanding of engineering processes and technical specifications
• Experience with procurement and material sourcing
• Proficiency in using relevant costing and financial software tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• Experience in the industrial solutions or manufacturing industry is a plus
• Ability to work on-site and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment
