Cost Analyst

As an Executive Costing, you will be responsible for managing the costs associated with product manufacturing and ensuring accurate financial analysis. Your responsibilities will include: - Demonstrating a good understanding of product pricing, work center costs, and overhead allocation. - Conducting variance analysis of material, labor, and overheads to identify cost discrepancies. - Preparing the annual budget related to material and direct expenses. - Generating inventory reports for raw materials, work in progress, finished goods, and reconciling them division-wise. - Understanding the Bill of Materials for products and manufacturing processes to determine the final cost of the product. - Analyzing post-production costs to compare actual costs versus quotes and identifying reasons for variances. - Utilizing knowledge of process routing to define work center costs and calculate machine hour rates. - Performing project profitability analysis, Return on Investment (ROI) calculations, and evaluating working capital and cash flow. In addition to the above responsibilities, you will need to meet the following qualifications: - CMA qualification (Qualified/Intermediate). - 2-4 years of experience in a relevant role.
