Cost Analyst

You should possess a CMA qualification either as Qualified or Intermediate along with 2-4 years of experience. Your role will involve having a good understanding of product pricing, work centre costs, and overhead allocation. It will also require knowledge of variance analysis of material, labor, and overheads, as well as preparing the annual budget related to materials and direct expenses. Additionally, you will be responsible for generating inventory reports for Raw Materials, Work in Progress, Finished Goods, and reconciling them division-wise. You should understand the Bill of Materials of a product and the manufacturing process to define the final cost of the product. Post-production costing analysis between actual vs. quoted costs and identifying reasons for variances will be part of your responsibilities. Familiarity with process routing to determine work centre costs and machine hour rates is essential. You will also be involved in project profitability analysis, Return on Investment (ROI), working capital management, and cash flow calculations.
