Cost Accountant

Role Overview: As a Cost Accountant at our company, you will play a crucial role in managing and analyzing various aspects of product costs, inventory valuation, fixed and variable costs, profit and loss calculations, and processing costs. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will be essential in ensuring accurate financial data and providing valuable insights to the management team. Key Responsibilities: - Calculate and analyze product costs, including direct materials, labor, and overheads. - Value inventory accurately and maintain records in accordance with accounting standards. - Calculate and analyze fixed costs, including depreciation, rent, and salaries. - Calculate and analyze variable costs, including raw materials, labor, and overheads. - Prepare profit and loss statements and analyze variances. - Calculate and analyze processing costs, including production and operational costs. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. - Proven experience in cost accounting. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and reporting skills. - Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.,
