Cosmetic Development Expert

We’re looking for a Cosmetic Development Expert to lead the creation of next-generation beauty formulations. In this role, you’ll drive product innovation from concept to scale-up, working across R&D, marketing, and manufacturing to deliver high-performance, low-irritation products designed for Indian consumers. You’ll collaborate with global labs, explore breakthrough ingredients, and ensure every formulation is not only safe and stable but also beautifully tailored to diverse Indian skin tones and preferences.

• Design and develop innovative beauty products — balancing actives, pigments, and textures for performance and consumer delight.
• Lead formulation R&D from lab bench to commercial scale, ensuring quality and consistency at every stage.
• Conduct stability, compatibility, and performance testing to meet both Indian and international regulatory standards.
• Partner with manufacturing teams and external labs across Asia to bring cutting-edge formulations to life.
• Integrate sustainable and locally sourced ingredients where possible.
• Stay on top of emerging trends and technologies to keep our portfolio future-ready.

• Education: Master’s in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related field (PhD a plus).
• Experience: 3–5 years in cosmetic formulation (beauty/skincare), with hands-on work in emulsions, suspensions, and anhydrous systems.
• Proven ability to scale formulations from lab to production.
• Strong knowledge of cosmetic regulations (India + global), GMP, and ISO 22716.

• Expertise in color cosmetics for Indian skin tones and modern finishes (dewy, glass-skin, natural matte).
• Familiarity with clean, natural, and multifunctional beauty ingredients.
• Passion for beauty trends, inclusivity, and consumer-first innovation.
• Ability to blend scientific rigor with creative product design.
