MAIN OBJECTIVESThe Corporate Sales Manager is responsible for maximizing Gulf Air’s passenger and corporate revenue to achieve the station's budgeted sales targets. This role involves representing Gulf Air professionally and knowledgeably to travel trade partners and commercial companies, with a strong focus on increasing revenue and market share across the airline's route network. Key responsibilities include retaining existing sales accounts, acquiring new accounts, enhancing awareness of the airline within trade and public sectors, and meeting annual targets set by the organization.MAIN DUTIES
Duties And Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Maintain and increase revenue and market share in the assigned area to meet annual targets.
- Negotiate agreements and resolves potential issues or problems with Corporate clients and Travel Agents.
- Expands existing or current customer base by recognizing and involving top Corporate Companies/Travel Agents within the area.
- Develop business plans to maximize revenues.
- Representing Gulf Air at trade shows and exhibitions, participating in corporate working groups and meetings, and conducting regular training sessions with travel agents to raise awareness of our products and services. These efforts aim to enhance our market presence and drive future sales
- Prepare, monitor and control budget to ensure compliance with set targets.
- Monitor market conditions and competitor activities to identify opportunities and possible threats.
- Develop a sales network and pricing structure to achieve targets and boost revenue by conducting pricing and fare analysis tailored for the corporate travel sector
- Implement customer service procedures to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Generate management reports for performance evaluation.
- Other administrative tasks may include some required budget assistance; payment processing, personnel activities, and staff scheduling.
EDUCATION & TRAINING
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Certified Sales Professional (CSP) or equivalent is preferred.
- Training in corporate sales strategies or account management is preferred.
Experience & Skills
- Minimum 6 years of demonstrated experience in sales and marketing-related disciplines.
- Ability to think and act strategically to drive results.
- Capability to work effectively across functions in a competitive and fast-paced environment.
- Strong presentation skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Exceptional skills in selling, influencing, and negotiating agreements.
- Comprehensive understanding of the travel industry and corporate business.
