About the job: Key responsibilities: 1. Take independent charge of sales to government and private institutions 2. Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements 3. Promote the sale of company products and provide sales support 4. Confer with customers and doctors to assess equipment needs and determine system requirements 5. Communicate with target audiences and manage customer relationships 6. Conduct market research using customer questionnaires and focus groups 7. Contribute to and develop marketing plans and strategies 8. Organize sales visits 9. Demonstrate and present products 10. Establish new business 11. Maintain accurate records 12. Attend trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings 13. Review sales performance 14. Negotiate contracts 15. Determine annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies and analyzing trends and results 16. Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories 17. Project expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products 18. Implement national sales programs by developing field sales action plans 19. Establish and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, supply and demand 20. Complete national sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results 21. Maintain national sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees 22. Maintain national sales staff job results by counseling, disciplining, planning, monitoring, and appraising job performance 23. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies 24. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Requirements: 1. Have experience in Surgical Instrument, Medical, or Pharma industry 2. Be ready to relocate anywhere in India 3. Possess excellent oral and written communication skills in English 4. Have basic knowledge of computers and MS Office 5. Demonstrate good negotiation and soft skills to handle all types of clients over the phone 6. Hold an MBA, graduate, or postgraduate degree in any stream 7.
