The role involves providing strategic legal support across property acquisitions, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and commercial contracts. This position plays a key part in safeguarding the companys legal interests by ensuring due diligence, managing legal risks, and advising on statutory matters.
1. Support property acquisition transactions, including drafting and reviewing terms in agreements/deeds.
2. Supervise due diligence of title deeds, including identifying and analyzing potential risks.
3. Liaise with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders during the transaction process.
1. Advise the company on corporate governance matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
2. Assist in ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including filings with government authorities.
1. Conduct in-depth legal research on corporate laws, regulations, and case law.
2. Provide legal opinions and advice on complex corporate legal issues, in order to minimize risk.
1. Work closely with senior lawyers and partners on larger, complex matters while gaining exposure to high-profile corporate deals.
2. Collaborate with other departments within the firm (such as business development and strategic partnerships) to provide comprehensive legal services.
