ABOUT THE COMPANY

  • Legal Advisory & Compliance

    • Provide end-to-end legal support across all business functions, including R&D, manufacturing, HR, and corporate operations.
    • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulatory standards (Medical Device Rules, Companies Act, IPR, etc.).
    • Oversee internal audits and documentation to maintain statutory compliance.
  • Contracts & Agreements

    • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents such as NDAs, MoUs, vendor contracts, distributor agreements, and partnership documents.
    • Structure and vet agreements related to research collaborations, licensing, and product commercialization.
    • Manage contract lifecycle, risk mitigation, and change management processes.
  • Intellectual Property & Licensing

    • Coordinate with IP attorneys for patent filings, technology licensing, and IP enforcement.
    • Ensure protection of proprietary technologies and trade secrets.
  • Corporate Governance

    • Advise management on legal implications of corporate strategies and decisions.
    • Support board and shareholder compliance documentation and filings.
    • Drafting RTI and Legal letters.
    • Handle matters related to corporate structuringstate tenders, central/ state government for state tenders, equity, and stakeholder agreements.
  • Litigation & Dispute Resolution

    • Liaise with external counsel to manage litigation, arbitration, and regulatory proceedings.
    • Represent companythe company's interests before relevant authorities when required.
  • Regulatory & Policy Interface

    • Stay updated on medical device, biotech, and healthcare regulations.
    • Engage with government agencies, legal bodies, and regulatory boards on compliance and approval matters.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATION

  • LLB / LLM from a recognized university.
  • 8-10 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in

    medical devices, healthcare, or technology sectors

    .
  • Proven expertise in

    contract law, corporate governance, IP management, and compliance

    .
  • Strong understanding of

    Indian regulatory frameworks

    , State tenders, including CDSCO, IPR, and corporate laws.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders.
