Corporate Lawyer

Key Responsibilities

Legal Advisory & Compliance

• Provide strategic legal counsel on corporate, commercial, and real estate matters.
• Ensure compliance with RERA, property laws, company law, and other applicable regulations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, MoUs, and JV deals.

Real Estate Transactions

• Conduct due diligence on land acquisitions, redevelopment projects, and property titles.
• Advise on project structuring, regulatory approvals, and builder-buyer agreements.
• Oversee registration processes and ensure statutory compliance.

Corporate Governance & Risk Management

• Assist management in decision-making by identifying legal risks and mitigating strategies.
• Ensure all corporate filings, licenses, and documentation are updated and compliant.
• Handle shareholder agreements, board resolutions, and investor relations from a legal standpoint.

Litigation & Dispute Resolution

• Represent the company in legal proceedings, arbitrations, and negotiations.
• Liaise with external counsel when required and manage litigation strategy.
• Handle customer disputes, builder-buyer complaints, and regulatory notices effectively.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with architects, contractors, consultants, and external legal firms.
• Provide legal training and guidance to internal teams on compliance and risk awareness

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelors / Masters degree in Law (LLB/LLM) from a recognized institution.
• 510 years of experience, preferably in real estate and corporate law.
• Strong knowledge of RERA, Contract Act, Companies Act, and property-related laws.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional ethics.
