As a Corporate Lawyer at our leading finance or wealth management company, you will provide expert legal advice on financial regulations, corporate governance, investment laws, and compliance matters. Your role will involve a strong understanding of financial markets, regulatory frameworks, and contract negotiations within the finance and wealth management sectors. - Provide legal advice on corporate finance, investment management, mergers & acquisitions, and securities laws. - Draft, review, and negotiate agreements including investment contracts, loan agreements, and partnership agreements. - Ensure compliance with financial regulatory bodies such as SEBI, RBI, SEC, or other relevant authorities. - Conduct legal due diligence on corporate transactions, risk assessment, and regulatory implications. - Represent the company in legal proceedings, negotiations, and dispute resolutions. - Advise on governance policies, risk mitigation strategies, and regulatory compliance frameworks. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders including compliance, risk, and finance teams to ensure adherence to legal obligations. - Keep abreast of evolving financial laws, securities regulations, and industry trends to provide proactive legal counsel. As this position is for a full-time permanent role, you will be entitled to benefits such as health insurance, paid sick time, and paid time off.
