Corporate Action and Reconciliation Analyst

As an expert/senior Corporate Actions analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire value chain of Corporate Actions activity from our external Middle Office provider. Your key responsibilities will include: - Contributing to the daily Proxy Voting BAU run by handling queries, reports, and setting up accounts. - Acting as a key contact person for Investment Professionals, External Providers, and Internal Operations stakeholders to coordinate and perform operational activities. - Leading/participating in various major operational projects related to internal workflows enhancements and improvements of existing processes with our external Middle Office provider. - Managing the relationship with our external Middle Office to ensure a sustainable and stable quality of service. - Being the gatekeeper for all requests coming from Client Account Managers and Portfolio Managers, including coordinating/executing related actions. - Ensuring the blocking of positions related to the Corporate Actions activity. - Daily oversight of stock positions and coordination of investigations with the outsourced Middle Office provider for stock reconciliations in Front Office systems. - Identifying and escalating incidents caused by third parties, following up on remedial actions and coordinating the loss event/claims process. - Participating in enhancing new target models, continuously improving processes, and proactively suggesting new initiatives. - Managing and/or escalating conflicts and issues with respective stakeholders, being proactive. Additionally, as a Front Office Cash/Stock Positions Reconciliations analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire value chain of the Reconciliations activity. Your key responsibilities will include: - Building credible, trusted advisor relationships with Portfolio Managers heavily involved in day-to-day processes. - Acting as a key contact person for Reconciliations to key internal stakeholders across all levels of the organization. - Daily oversight of cash and stock positions on sensitive accounts and coordination of investigations with the external Middle Office provider. - Contributing to Cash Management by actively monitoring available cash and trade target Money Market funds. - Analyzing daily cash balances, monitoring potential Overdraft, and escalating issues to internal stakeholders. - Participating in monitoring books reopening processes on sensitive accounts and ensuring accurate data postings in the systems. - Processing and monitoring sensitive transactions in the systems and following up on the lifecycle of Funds/Mandates. - Participating in enhancing new target models, continuously improving processes, and proactively suggesting new initiatives. - Managing and/or escalating conflicts and issues with respective stakeholders, being proactive. Your qualifications should include: - Client focused with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Creative, hands-on, and ready to think outside the box. - Experience in Corporate Actions is a plus. - Ability to resolve complex problems, delivery focused, and well-organized. - Analytical and rigorous in task performance. - Self-motivated team player willing to work in a diverse and challenging environment. - Investment Accounting experience/knowledge would be a plus. - Flexible to drive continuous changes in processes and structure. - Excellent verbal and written communication capability in English is mandatory. - German language proficiency would be a plus. - Professional in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; Digitalization experience & automation skills (VBA) is a plus. - Good knowledge of Bloomberg AIM is a plus.,
