Senior Associate Corporate Actions (Hybrid | Bangalore)

Senior Associate

Key Responsibilities:

• Scrubbing and setting up corporate actions in operating systems.
  
• Monitor global corporate actions across asset classes (Settled/Pending trades, SLAB).
  
• Track event announcements, forecast key dates, and manage notifications.
  
• Handle voluntary event elections, compile instructions, and liaise with custodians/agents.
  
• Validate payment proceeds, reconcile internal and external records.
  
• Escalate and mitigate operational or reconciliation risks.
  
• Generate reports, participate in daily/weekly team meetings.
  
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and custodians for seamless event processing.
  

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of

  corporate actions processing

  (mandatory).
• Familiarity with global custody and investment banking operations.
  
• Hands-on experience with systems like

  Calypso, Power, or similar tools

  .
• Excellent

  Excel

  skills and ability to handle large data sets.
• Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
  
• Strong communication skills for coordination across global teams.
  
• Understanding of risk controls, compliance, and escalation procedures.
  

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification.
  
• 5+ years of relevant experience in corporate actions, trade processing, or securities operations.
  
• Exposure to global markets and multi-asset class corporate actions preferred.
  
• Comfortable working in

  US/EMEA/APAC time zones

  if needed.
• Able to work independently and within a high-pressure environment.
