Job Description

We are hiring for Corporate action

Key Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

Scrub and set up corporate action events in internal systems (e.g., Picasso)
Monitor global positions (settled/pending) for corporate action eligibility
Manage corporate action lifecycle: announcement, notification, elections, and booking
Handle voluntary event instructions and communicate with custodians/agents
Ensure accurate processing and reconciliation of proceeds on payment date
Serve as the main point of contact for corporate action operations (internal & external)
Become SME on market-specific corporate actions and contribute expert insights
Report regularly on event statuses and escalate issues where necessary

Contributing Responsibilities

Proactively identify and mitigate operational and reputational risk
Reduce manual instructions and enhance STP rates with custodians
Ensure accurate maintenance of static data
Liaise effectively with traders, sales, custodians, and other ops teams
Follow escalation protocols and compliance requirements diligently

Key Skills & Requirements

Bachelors degree or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of experience in corporate actions (global markets preferred)
Strong knowledge of corporate action types
Familiarity with systems like Calypso, Picasso, Power, etc.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving abilities
