Role Overview

Copywriter & Social Media Executive

Key Responsibilities

Copywriting

• Write performance-driven ad copies for platforms like Google, Meta, and YouTube
• Craft catchy, on-brand social media captions that drive engagement and conversions
• Collaborate on email marketing - subject lines, body copy, and CTAs
• Ideate and script short-form content for reels, testimonials, influencer collabs, etc.

Social Media Content & Strategy

• Plan, write, and publish daily content across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
• Coordinate with designers and videographers to bring content ideas to life
• Assist in creating content calendars and campaign ideas in sync with key brand moments
• Conduct regular competitive and keyword research to identify content gaps and opportunities
• Help define and evolve the brand voice to ensure consistency across all platforms

Must-Have Skills

• 1-3 years of experience in copywriting and social media management
• Clear understanding of brand storytelling and content marketing
• Ability to write with wit, empathy, and intent for digital-first platforms
• Familiarity with content planning tools (Buffer, Hootsuite) and social media metrics
• Stable career mindset with strong clarity on creative direction and long-term growth
• Bonus: Passion for pets or basic understanding of pet ownership
