Job Description

Job Summary:

Copilot Studio Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Development:

  • Design and develop copilots using

    Microsoft Copilot Studio

    (Power Virtual Agents).
  • Create, train, and optimize AI models and conversational flows using natural language understanding (NLU) and Microsoft Dataverse.
  • Integrate copilots with external systems (REST APIs, Azure services, Dataverse, SharePoint, Dynamics 365, etc.).
  • Develop custom code components (e.g., Power Automate flows, Azure Functions) as needed.


2. Deployment:

  • Manage full deployment lifecycle: development, testing (UAT), staging, and production environments.
  • Configure authentication and authorization (AAD integration, role-based access).
  • Monitor system health and deployment success using Azure Monitor, Power Platform Admin Center, or other tools.


3. Management & Maintenance:

  • Perform version control, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
  • Analyze usage data and feedback to improve user experiences.
  • Ensure scalability, performance optimization, and security compliance.
  • Provide documentation and training for stakeholders and end-users.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Virtual Agents / Copilot Studio, Power Automate).
  • Strong experience in

    building end-to-end conversational AI solutions

  • Solid understanding of

    Dataverse

    ,

    Azure services

    , RESTful APIs, and authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0, Azure AD).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently across the full software development lifecycle.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
