Coordinator - International Patient Services

Key Responsibilities

The coordinator acts as a single point of contact and a patient advocate, handling a wide range of duties:

• Logistical Support: Arranging airport transfers, accommodation (hotels/guest houses), and local transportation.
• Administrative & Financial Guidance: Assisting with medical visa formalities, managing billing processes, providing cost estimates, and coordinating with insurance providers.
• Communication & Cultural Support: Acting as a liaison between patients, medical staff, and administrative teams; providing or arranging for translation and interpretation services; and being culturally sensitive to diverse patient backgrounds.
• Care Coordination: Scheduling medical appointments, surgeries, and follow-up visits; ensuring medical records and documentation are accurate and complete; and monitoring the patient's care flow.
• Patient Experience Management: Ensuring high hospitality standards, proactively handling patient inquiries and complaints, and providing emotional support and personalized attention.

Essential Skills and QualificationsSuccessful coordinators possess a blend of soft and technical skills:

• Excellent Communication: Proficiency in English is essential, and the ability to speak multiple languages is a significant advantage.
• Cultural Competency: Sensitivity and understanding of diverse cultural backgrounds to provide appropriate support.
• Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, schedules, and documentation in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Empathy and Compassion: A genuine passion for helping others and ensuring a positive patient experience.
• Healthcare Knowledge: Understanding of medical terminology and hospital procedures is often required.
• Education: A bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, International Relations, Hospitality, or a related field is commonly sought.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
