Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Cooling Tower Operator for our Bharuch plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficient operation, monitoring, and routine maintenance of cooling towers and associated utility systems to support continuous plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor cooling tower systems and related utility equipment (pumps, fans, motors, valves, etc.).
• Maintain optimal water flow rates, temperature, and chemical dosing as per operational standards.
• Monitor water quality parameters and coordinate with the ETP/utility/chemical treatment team for corrective actions.
• Check and maintain chemical dosing systems (anti-scalant, biocide, etc.).
• Record operational parameters (inlet/outlet temperatures, pressure, flow rates) in logbooks or digital systems.
• Conduct regular inspections of cooling tower fill, drift eliminators, fans, motors, and gearboxes.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and assist the maintenance team during breakdowns or overhauls.
• Report any abnormalities, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns to the shift engineer or supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety protocols, and environmental guidelines.
• Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness in the cooling tower area.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 2 years in utility operations with hands-on experience in cooling tower operations.
• Education: ITI or Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, or relevant technical field.
• Skills:
• Knowledge of cooling tower systems and water treatment processes.
• Ability to read instruments and follow operational instructions.
• Familiarity with industrial safety and EHS practices.
• Team player with good communication and reporting skills.
• Other Requirements: Willingness to work in shifts and outdoor environments.

Pay: ₹11,336.16 - ₹50,790.01 per month
