Job Title: Senior Bill Checker (Civil) Experience Required: Minimum 10 years Qualification: B.A. / Diploma / Degree in Civil (as per your requirement, BA in Civil) Work Location: Dahej & Saykha Salary: ₹5,000 per working day (paid only for days worked) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Bill Checker with a strong civil background and extensive knowledge of BBS (Bar Bending Schedule) , bar bending detailing, and construction billing procedures. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of hands-on experience in bill checking for civil construction projects and the technical capability to verify and validate contractor bills with high accuracy. Key Responsibilities Check, verify, and certify contractor and subcontractor bills as per project specifications. Review Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) , reinforcement drawings, and bar bending quantities. Validate measurements from site and ensure proper documentation. Cross-check quantities with approved drawings, BOQ, and contract terms. Maintain accurate billing records, measurement books, and supporting documents. Coordinate with site engineers, planning teams, and contractors for clarification and corrections. Ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and safety norms while checking bills. Prepare periodic billing reports and highlight discrepancies or deviations. Assist in quantity estimation and reconciliation of materials when required. Required Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of BBS preparation, bar bending schedules, and reinforcement detailing . Excellent understanding of civil engineering drawings and measurement techniques. Proficiency in quantity surveying and billing procedures for civil works. High accuracy, attention to detail, and analytical ability. Good communication and coordination skills. Ability to work independently and handle high-volume billing checks.
